Here’s why you should stop digging your garden

5. Higher yields

Undug gardens may have fewer yields than dug ones, but when it comes to quality, no-dig gardening is much better because the time between layering compost and organic and the break down of the materials takes a few months which provides nutrients and a healthier soil to seedlings (this ends you up with a prolific garden).

6. Minimal disruption to the soil

When the soil is left as it is, beneficial organisms thrive better because they are on common and undisrupted grounds which allows prey and predator balance. Make sure to use a rudimentary tool to draw a line directly on the soil and fill the trenches with seeds, then wait for them to emerge patiently. The rest of the digging process will be handled by worms.
