4. Unclog a hairspray pump

Hairspray pumps get clogged which denies the product from getting from the can to your hair. Most people use pins to unclog the pump not knowing that they could be damaging it. The best way to unclog a hairspray pump is by removing the nozzle and holding it under running warm water or soaking it in rubbing alcohol.

5. Dry makeup brushes upside down

Just like makeup sponges, makeup brushes also collect makeup and face oils that can promote bad skin health because they transfer bacteria straight to your face. Makeup brushes should not only be cleaned properly but dried properly as well because you want the brushes to have the same original shape for good makeup application. You can also use rubber bands to secure your brushes so you can hang them upside down from your hanger.

6. Sanitize your makeup

Usually, women go back and forth between makeup palettes and their faces, and this means bacteria and oils are getting transferred as well from the skin to the makeup. That is why you should clean and sanitize your makeup. To do that, dip a clean makeup brush in rubbing alcohol, then wipe it all across the makeup to kill germs and bacteria that sits on the surface of the makeup powder.
